Trampolines

ANSWER

The size of trampoline boxes depends on the size of your trampoline. Most Acon trampolines are shipped in two boxes. Our largest are over 7 feet long and each weighs nearly 200 pounds. The average size of each box is around ~100 pounds and is about 5 feet by 5 feet by 2 feet.

Consider a few factors when buying a trampoline: How long has the company has been around? Are their customer reviews positive? But most importantly, does the trampoline deliver the best bounce? Not all trampolines are created equal. One can feel the difference when jumping on a premium trampoline like Acon.

The best trampoline size depends on your available yard space and intended use. Larger trampolines like the 15ft, 16ft or 17ft are great for more advanced use, offering ample jumping space. For smaller yards, 12ft or 14ft trampolines provide a good balance of performance and space. If you have limited yard space, consider 10ft or 6ft options. Always ensure there’s at least three feet of clearance around the trampoline for safety. When choosing, consider opting for backyard trampolines that fit your space and needs.

The lifespan of a trampoline depends on factors like the quality of materials, frequency of use, and exposure to weather. On average, a well-maintained trampoline can last anywhere from 3 to 10 years. High-quality trampolines, like Acon’s, typically last longer when cared for properly, with routine maintenance and seasonal storage helping to extend their lifespan. Regular inspections for wear and tear can also help ensure the trampoline remains safe and functional for years to come.

For bigger kids or teens, you'll want a trampoline that offers ample space for jumping on a trampoline, flips, and tricks, along with a higher weight limit for trampoline use. Acon trampolines come in various sizes, but for older children or teens, we recommend choosing a 14ft, 15ft, or 16ft trampoline. These sizes provide plenty of room for energetic activity and a higher weight capacity, allowing them to jump safely and comfortably. Larger trampolines like these also offer better performance, especially for high jumps and more advanced movements. Plus, the extra space reduces the risk of accidents by giving them more room to move. Be sure to ensure proper clearance around the trampoline for added safety.

Yes, trampolines can be a safe and enjoyable way for people of all ages to exercise, but safety should always be a top priority. It's crucial to choose a trampoline from a trusted manufacturer that prioritizes safety in its design. Look for features like safety enclosures, padding, and a sturdy frame, all of which help reduce the risk of injury. Trampoline jumpers should always follow the manufacturer’s recommended safety guidelines, such as only allowing one person to jump at a time and ensuring proper supervision. For added peace of mind, always opt for safety trampolines that include enhanced protective features.

Trampolines do not require a big yard. Acon recommends at least three feet of space around the edge of the trampoline for safety purposes. Trampolines come in many sizes from as small as either 6ft or 10ft. The Acon 6ft trampoline can easily fit inside a house with a large basement or family room.

Although most Acon trampolines do not have single user weight limits, Acon safety guidelines recommend that only a single user jumps on the mat of a trampoline at a time when jumping. For non-jumping activities such as sleepovers or movie viewing multiple children are allowed on the trampoline mat.

In general, most Acon trampolines feature warranties of 10 years for the frame. 5 years for the springs. 5 years for the jumping mat. 2 years for the safety pad. And, where applicable, 1 year for the anchors, ladder, and enclosure. An array of spare parts from Acon can also extend the life of your trampoline.

It depends on the manufacturer, and you should check their guidelines. Acon trampolines can be used in winter, and recommends ensuring that before any jumps are made, regardless of the season, the trampoline mat and safety padding is dry and free of any debris or snow. In Canada, where winter conditions can be harsh, it's especially important to properly maintain your trampoline to ensure safe jumping year-round.
